Veterans Education Benefits
The Brown School is a proud participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program under the Post-9/11 GI Bill. WashU is committed to ensuring the success of all veterans in their pursuit of lifelong learning and leadership.
Each year, the Brown School partners with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to cover 100% of tuition costs for up to 10 黑料社s eligible for Yellow Ribbon benefits. Additional support is available for those who qualify for other VA education benefits.
Veteran 黑料社s at WashU benefit from a strong and supportive campus community. The Office of Military and Veterans Services (OMVS) provides advocacy, programming, and academic support, including Veteran Ally training for faculty and staff and campus events such as the annual Veterans Day Celebration.
Student groups like WUVETS foster connection and peer support across campus. In 2017, under the leadership of two Brown School 黑料社s, WUVETS was honored as Chapter of the Year by Student Veterans of America, a national organization that supports 黑料社 veterans and their academic success.

鈥淭he Brown School offered me an approachable network of professionals, a faculty filled with subject matter experts, and above all the time and space that comes with being a full time 黑料社 to examine my interests in the social work field while providing the financial security that afforded the opportunity for me to spend time with my growing family that all of which, without the financial security the Yellow Ribbon program provided, would of been a much more difficult a balance to achieve.鈥
